The right candidate will assist in the execution of all media planning functions across teams.
On any given day you might
Maintain a common platform for a base of informational tools for all teams, ensuring that these tools are streamlined and unduplicated.
Ensure that standard communication (within Planning/with other Agency disciplines/with Clients) for each piece of business across all teams adheres to established processes and procedures.
Generate newspaper / print insertion orders for Clients.
Coordinate and reconcile print billing.
Assist with tracking media expenditures to ensure agency and Client budget compliance.
Update Client media activity flowcharts.
Monitor trade publications for media trends.
Assist with smaller proposal evaluations and develop Client media plans.
Begin to develop media knowledge base in preparation for media research responsibilities that include: evaluating media research data; developing points of view; understanding systems applications; understanding various media and their applications against Client strategies/goals.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes involved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Has experience working with MS Office; experience using Excel is a must. This position will also regularly use agency accounting system and/or other media buying specific software.
